Shipping
All shipping is calculated on the schippingfee from our carpenter Pero in Croatia to our office in The Netherlands and added to the cost from our office is The Netherlands to you.
Although this may seem an expensive route, UPS and EMS shippingdeals in The Netherlands provide for excelent import discounts from Croatia and reasanoble discount for export from The Netherlands. In all cases up to now it has been cheaper to send items through us than it has been to send the items directly from Croatia. Don't ask us to explain the logic, we don't get it either...
This extended route does, however, give us the opportunity to have our Quality Control (QC) here in The Netherlands. Although, because of Pero's incurable perfectionism, we never had an item that failed the QC so far. (knock on wood)
Beside the cost for shipping we are also concerned with the fuel that gets waisted in this shipping via The Netherlands. That is why we occasionally ask UPS, Fedex, DHL or TNT Express for a direct shipment quote. Depending on fuel surcharges the extra cost might be low enough for us to chip in and send your package directly to you.
Ofcourse we won't do so unless we checked with you first, because it will be skipping our (QC) in The Netherlands.
